A Cozy, Romantic Lifestyle Shoot


When it comes to capturing true love, there’s something undeniably magical about the cozy, intimate, candid moments shared in the comfort of home. For engaged couple Nick and Faith, their lifestyle photo session wasn’t just about creating beautiful images — it was about telling their love story in an authentic, joyful way. And what better way to do that than by photographing them making homemade pasta together in their warm and inviting DFW home?


From the flour dusting the air to their playful glances and laughter, this shoot was the perfect reflection of the real, everyday moments that make their relationship so special.


When I walked into Nick and Faith’s home in DFW, I immediately felt relaxed. There was a sense of calm and comfort that made it the perfect setting for a cozy, intimate lifestyle shoot.


Nick and Faith were so relaxed and in their element, and that made all the difference. Instead of stiff poses and forced smiles, they were simply being themselves — laughing, talking, sharing wine, and working side by side to create their homemade pasta. Faith rolled out the dough, while Nick sliced the fresh pasta into strands. Every moment felt completely them. They’d glance at each other with loving smiles, share playful jokes, and occasionally give each other sweet, spontaneous kisses.


The beauty of this shoot was that it wasn’t about perfection — it was about capturing those real moments of connection and love. Faith playfully dusted flour on Nick’s nose, making both of them burst into laughter and leading to Nick retaliating with his own flour art piece on Faith's cheek, which lead to a tender moment where they helped each other get clean with damp cloth. It was those little, unplanned moments that made this shoot so magical. It was pure joy, and I felt so lucky to be there to capture it.
