At this session, Jake actually brought his fishing gear to enjoy some time on the land after the photos. They both love being in nature and feel really connected being outside, so this location during the fall season for their engagement photos perfectly reflected them.

Brooklynn’s engagement ring deserves its own moment. The custom marquise ring was absolutely stunning, with fantasy like carvings that felt both romantic and meaningful. It suited her perfectly and felt like something straight out of a fairytale. Photographing the details of a ring like this at the LBJ Grasslands, surrounded by natural textures and warm light, made it even more magical.
Their love story is deeply rooted in faith and family. Brooklynn and Jake are getting married at the church where Jake’s dad preaches, which adds such a beautiful layer of meaning to their wedding day.
