Caitlyn and Larklin’s Fort Worth elopement was the kind of day that reminds me why I love photographing intimate weddings. Intentional, meaningful, and completely centered around their story, their wedding day unfolded across some of the most iconic courthouse locations in Fort Worth, starting quietly at sunrise and ending downtown with classic architecture and a lot of love.
Private Sunrise Vows and First Look

The day began just before sunrise with private vows and a first look. There is something incredibly special about starting a wedding day this way. With no distractions and no timeline pressure, Caitlyn and Larklin were able to fully soak in the moment together. As the sun came up, they exchanged vows that felt deeply personal and emotional, setting the tone for the rest of the day.
These quiet mornings are always some of my favorite moments to photograph. The light is soft, the city is still waking up, and everything feels calm and intentional.
An Elopement Ceremony at the Sub Courthouse

After warming up and taking a break from the cold, we made our way to the Fort Worth sub courthouse for their elopement ceremony. It happened to be the coldest day of the year, and Caitlyn was absolutely glowing in her sleeveless wedding dress. We took plenty of warm up breaks between portraits, which only added to the relaxed and fun pace of the day.
The courthouse ceremony was simple and heartfelt, exactly what Caitlyn and Larklin wanted. Elopements like this are proof that a wedding does not need to be big to be meaningful.

Dream Photos at the Historic Tarrant County Courthouse

One of the things I loved most about this day was their custom photography package. Caitlyn and Larklin chose to split their coverage hours so they could have both a meaningful ceremony and their dream portraits at the historic Tarrant County Courthouse in downtown Fort Worth.
The grand architecture, classic stone details, and timeless feel of the courthouse created the perfect backdrop for their portraits. It was the ideal way to end the day and gave them a gallery full of images that feel elegant, romantic, and uniquely Fort Worth.

Fort Worth elopements like this one will always have my heart. If you are planning an intimate wedding or courthouse elopement and want a day that feels true to you, I would love to help you tell that story.
