A Simple, Sweet Start at the Fort Worth Courthouse
Scarlett and Cody tied the knot at the Tarrant County Courthouse, surrounded by just a few close loved ones. The warm Texas light, the historic architecture, and their nervous excitement made the ceremony incredibly touching. Courthouse weddings are such a beautiful reminder that love doesn’t need all the frills—just the right person beside you.
A Simple, Sweet Start at the Fort Worth Courthouse
When Scarlett and Cody reached out about documenting their intimate courthouse wedding in Fort Worth, I knew it would be something special. As a Fort Worth elopement photographer, I live for these heartfelt, laid-back celebrations—and theirs was full of love, laughter, and a few Texas-style surprises.

In-N-Out, Because... Why Not?
After saying “I do,” we headed to In-N-Out Burger for a casual post-ceremony meal. I absolutely love when couples ditch tradition and do something that feels real to them. Scarlett and Cody laughed, shared fries, and soaked in that just-married glow—proof that your wedding day should be as unique as your love story.
Exploring the Fort Worth Stockyards

Next stop: the Fort Worth Stockyards. It’s a dream location for couples wanting a true Texas vibe in their wedding photos. We wandered cobblestone streets, posed with longhorns, and captured some incredible golden-hour portraits. As a Fort Worth engagement and wedding photographer, I always recommend the Stockyards for my country couples for its blend of rustic charm and wild spirit.
First Dance in a Honky Tonk Bar
Their day ended perfectly—with a spontaneous first dance at a local honky tonk bar. There’s just something magical about twirling under neon lights with country music playing and cowboy boots on the dance floor (and cowboy hats on the ceiling in this bar!). It was raw, romantic, and totally them.
